I grew up watching my dad behind the wheel of an eighteen-wheeler. The days of kindergarten was always fun when I knew that he was picking me up in the big truck. Sometimes we would go home but other times he would take me down to Florida to pick up a load. Wow, those times were so fun. Thanks for the memories daddy. He was a truck driver for around 25 years I think, and during those long days on the road, he built more than a career — he built a code of character.
He taught me that no matter what you do, always be courteous to people. Whether it’s a stranger at a truck stop or a client buying their first home, kindness goes a long way.
He taught me to always be on time. In trucking, time matters. Deliveries have deadlines, and a few hours can make all the difference. The same goes for real estate — being dependable builds trust and sets the tone for every transaction.
He taught me to always be humble, because no matter how successful you become, you’re never too good to shake someone’s hand, listen, and learn.
He taught me to always tell the truth — even when it’s uncomfortable. Honesty might not always be the easiest path, but it’s always the right one.
And most of all, he taught me to treat people the way you’d like to be treated. That simple rule has guided me not just in life, but in every real estate deal I’ve ever been part of.
My dad may have spent his life on the road, but the lessons he taught me have driven my career in real estate. They’re timeless, simple, and true — and I try to live by them every single day.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a realtor — you’re getting someone who believes in honesty, punctuality, and treating people right, just like my dad taught me.
